Mental Health Counseling
Therapy has been at the center of my professional life since I began wondering, from a young age, what makes us who we are – how we relate to ourselves, to others, and to the lives we’re building. That curiosity led me to counseling, and eventually to founding Sequoia Counseling Collective, a group private practice where I get to do this work every day alongside a team I deeply believe in.
I work with individuals and couples who are feeling stuck, disconnected, or overwhelmed – people navigating anxiety, trauma, life transitions, relationship challenges, and the complicated emotional terrain of pregnancy, postpartum, and perinatal mental health. What my clients have in common is a desire for more: more clarity, more connection, more of a sense that their life genuinely belongs to them.
My approach is relational and trauma-informed, drawing from attachment-based, values-based, and mindfulness practices. I am an EMDR Certified Therapist and a Perinatal Mental Health Certified Therapist – two areas I feel especially called to and trained in. I also offer animal assisted therapy alongside Gus, my certified therapy dog, for clients who find connection and grounding through that kind of presence.

I believe the therapeutic relationship itself is one of the most powerful tools we have. I show up authentically, meet clients where they are, and create a space where they don’t have to perform okay or have it all figured out before walking through the door.
